No último domingo, dia 03 de janeiro, na Arena da Amazônia Vivaldo Lima, o Fast Clube disputou a primeira partida rumo ao acesso à Série C em 2021.
Com vários Atletas acometidos pela COVID – 19, a equipe foi, literalmente: “quebrada”, para o confronto contra o Grêmio Novorizontino de São Paulo. As opções e possibilidades do Técnico Lecheva ficaram prejudicadas.
A equipe jogou bem, foi aguerrida, criou bastante e teve oportunidades de ficar em vantagem no placar em vários momentos. Porém, valeu a máxima do futebol: “quem não faz, leva”!
O Novorizontino, aos 15 minutos do primeiro tempo, com Guilherme Queiroz, marcou o gol da vitória dos paulistas e manteve uma das melhores campanhas do Campeonato Brasileiro da Série D de 2020. Além disso, vai decidir a vaga em Novo Horizonte (SP), no próximo domingo (10 de janeiro), no Estádio Jorge de Biasi.

Caso o resultado favorável seja por um gol, a disputa vai novamente às penalidades máximas. Em caso de vitória por dois gols de diferença, a conquista é imediata: o Fast se classifica às semifinais do Campeonato Brasileiro da Série D e será mais um representante do Amazonas, na Série C do Brasileirão 2021.
O “Esquadrão Tricolor” tem uma batalha difícil pela frente. Mas, ninguém achava que seria fácil!
